Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems
- Diagnose pipe leaks, clogs, and fixture malfunctions using advanced diagnostic tools
- Adhere to local plumbing codes and safety regulations during all installations
- Collaborate with contractors on new construction plumbing projects
- Provide emergency plumbing services during after-hours on rotation
- Maintain accurate service records and inventory for parts usage
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Illinois state plumbing license (journeyman or master required)
- Minimum 3 years commercial/residential plumbing experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency with pipefitting, drain cleaning, and fixture installation
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving skills and customer service orientation
- Flexibility to work weekends/weekends for emergency calls
