Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems per NEC standards
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and repair malfunctions in electrical panels, wiring, and fixtures
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure timely completion of assignments
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain clean work sites
- Inspect and upgrade existing electrical systems for code compliance
- Train junior electricians on best practices and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Illinois Electrician License (Journeyman or Master)
- Minimum 3 years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Proficiency with hand/power tools and diagnostic equipment
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) updates
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
