Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial properties
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with national electrical codes (NEC) and local regulations
- Diagnose electrical issues using specialized testing equipment
- Coordinate project timelines and communicate with clients/supervisors
- Maintain clean, safe work environments and proper documentation
- Mentor junior electricians and participate in team training sessions
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of professional electrical experience
- Valid Louisiana Electrician license or equivalent certification
- Proven expertise with residential, commercial, and industrial systems
- Strong knowledge of NEC codes and safety protocols
- Ability to read technical diagrams and blueprints
- Physical stamina for climbing ladders, working in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation
