Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential/commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, NEC, and local electrical codes
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment and troubleshooting techniques
- Manage project timelines and coordinate with contractors/clients
- Maintain accurate documentation for permits and inspections
- Mentor junior electricians on best practices and safety protocols
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Journeyman or Master Electrician license (MN required)
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent
- Proficiency with conduit bending, transformers, and VFD systems
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex electrical issues
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Reliable transportation and daily availability
- Clean driving record and background check clearance
