Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with local and national electrical codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to plan layouts and installations.
- Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and safe at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license required (valid in California).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in commercial or industrial electrical work.
- Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Electrical Code.
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, and overtime as required.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
