Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial plumbing repairs, including pipe fitting, leak detection, and fixture installation.
- Diagnose complex plumbing issues and provide accurate, cost-effective solutions to clients.
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations in DC and VA.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including job sites and personal vehicle.
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate technical details clearly to non-technical clients.
- Assist in the training of junior apprentice plumbers.
Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Plumber License required (valid in DC and VA).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on experience in commercial and residential plumbing.
- Strong knowledge of various plumbing systems (drain, waste, vent, water supply).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
