Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure compliance
- Diagnose electrical faults using testing equipment
- Adhere to NEC and Virginia state electrical codes
- Supervise junior electricians and apprentices
- Manage material inventory and project documentation
- Provide excellent customer service and safety leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of commercial/residential electrical experience
- Valid Virginia electrician license (Journeyman or Master)
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local regulations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Proficient with electrical testing tools and diagnostic software
