Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other tradespeople with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform site cleanup duties and waste management
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors and crew leads
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings for task assignments
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we train motivated beginners!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred (not mandatory)
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality essential
- Ability to follow safety protocols and wear provided PPE
- Basic communication skills in English or Spanish
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Miami-Dade County
