Responsibilities
- Site Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and general contractors with daily tasks.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under direct supervision.
- Site Preparation: Prepare construction sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris as required.
- Communication: Relay important information between site supervisors and team members effectively.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school experience is a plus but not required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy materials (50+ lbs) for extended periods.
- Availability: Reliable attendance and the ability to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when needed.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record are preferred.
- Attitude: A strong willingness to learn, follow instructions, and work well in a team-oriented environment.
