Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized workspaces
- Read blueprints and project specifications for task execution
- Transport materials using carts, dollies, and light equipment
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Complete basic construction tasks (digging, shoveling, lifting, carrying)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Team-oriented attitude with ability to follow instructions
