Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential/commercial plumbing systems (leaks, clogs, water heaters)
- Install plumbing fixtures, pipes, and water filtration systems
- Perform emergency response calls 24/7 (rotating schedule)
- Adhere to NYC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Conduct system inspections and maintenance reports
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Manage inventory and order plumbing supplies
- Provide excellent customer service during high-pressure situations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on plumbing experience
- Valid NYC Master Plumber license required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Emergency response experience preferred
- Strong diagnostic skills for complex plumbing issues
- Proficient in trenchless repair methods
- Clean driving record and reliable vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights/weekends
