Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and light equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job site conditions
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and verbal instructions
- Load/unload materials and transport tools/equipment as directed
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Raleigh area
- Positive attitude and commitment to teamwork
