Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and construction tasks
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and securing materials
- Follow strict safety protocols and OSHA guidelines at all times
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project specifications
- Assist in setting up temporary structures, scaffolding, and safety barriers
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, digging, and material transport
- Report hazards or equipment malfunctions to site supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No formal experience required – training provided for all tools and processes
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and team collaboration
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours daily on uneven terrain
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
