Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (e.g., drills, saws, jackhammers)
- Follow safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and transport tools to job sites
- Read basic blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Assist in erecting scaffolding and temporary structures
- Participate in team-based projects with clear deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
