Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including excavation, grading, and cleanup
- Safely load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power tools under supervision
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and maintain organized work areas
- Support skilled tradespeople with material delivery and task assistance
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Complete basic construction tasks like measuring, cutting, and installing materials
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
