Responsibilities
- Assist skilled carpenters, masons, and equipment operators on construction sites
- Prepare job sites by moving materials, clearing debris, and setting up safety barriers
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, shovels, saws) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to comply with OSHA standards
- Load/un construction materials and equipment safely using proper lifting techniques
- Follow verbal instructions from site supervisors and complete tasks efficiently
- Participate in daily safety briefings and report hazards immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide comprehensive training
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly throughout shifts
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily start times at 6:00 AM
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
