Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespersons in daily construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites by removing debris and hazardous materials
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company standards
- Transport materials using equipment like wheelbarrows, dollies, and forklifts (training provided)
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress updates
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not required)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and overtime
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn construction skills
