Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and marking layouts
- Load/unload materials and equipment using safe lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradesmen with tasks like mixing concrete, framing, and finishing
- Operate hand/power tools (training provided) including saws, drills, and jackhammers
- Follow OSHA safety standards and wear required PPE at all times
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and dispose of waste properly
- Complete daily progress reports and assist with inventory management
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Atlanta metro area
