Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision (e.g., shovels, saws, drills)
- Follow strict safety guidelines and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Participate in team assignments to meet project deadlines
- Report equipment issues or safety hazards to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide full training
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic communication skills in English
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
