Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws, etc.)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, carrying, and assembling components
- Participate in team-based projects to meet construction deadlines
- Report progress and issues to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required - we provide comprehensive on-the-job training
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform strenuous tasks for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic communication skills and willingness to follow instructions
