Responsibilities
- Execute precise concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks on commercial sites
- Operate heavy machinery including excavators, forklifts, and power tools with certification
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and site-specific protocols
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain project timelines
- Perform site preparation, demolition, and debris removal duties
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years commercial construction experience required
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification and current driver's license
- Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and hand tools
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Strong understanding of DC construction regulations and permitting processes
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with LEED construction practices a plus
