Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with daily construction tasks including material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by removing debris and waste
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment
- Load/unload construction materials and transport them to designated areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as directed
- Participate in team briefings and complete daily progress reports
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience requiredâcomprehensive training provided
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation
- Reliable transportation to job sites in the Oakland area
