Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (hammers, saws, levels)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform general cleanup, debris removal, and basic site security
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Assist in erecting temporary structures and scaffolding setups
- Support skilled trades with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – entry-level welcome!
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliable transportation to job sites across Columbus metro
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurements
