Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with construction site operations including material handling, excavation prep, and debris removal
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, levels)
- Follow blueprints and safety guidelines for site preparation and cleanup
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain organized work areas and report maintenance needs
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Columbus metro
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
