Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including site preparation, material handling, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Follow detailed instructions from project supervisors and team leads
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment efficiently
- Participate in team-based projects requiring physical coordination and stamina
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Basic math skills for measuring and material estimation
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and reliability
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
