Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand tools (shovels, hammers, levels) and power equipment under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites by debris removal and waste management
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Perform trenching, digging, and excavation tasks as directed
- Complete daily cleanup duties and assist with project documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (not required)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to submit to background check and drug screening
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
