Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment under supervision
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain a clean and organized job site following OSHA standards
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox meetings
- Support various trades (carpentry, concrete, demolition) as project needs require
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Ability to stand/walk for 8+ hours in outdoor/industrial environments
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in varying weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Strong commitment to workplace safety protocols
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
