Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic tools and equipment safely under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and organize job site efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free work area
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions from supervisors
- Participate in team-based projects to meet construction deadlines
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns immediately to site supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided!
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and reliability with consistent attendance
- Basic communication skills for following instructions
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
