Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation including material handling and equipment setup
- Perform physical tasks like digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain clean and organized work areas following OSHA safety standards
- Operate basic tools (shovels, hammers, saws) under supervisor guidance
- Support skilled tradespeople with construction tasks
- Complete daily equipment checks and maintenance logs
- Adhere to project timelines and quality control standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counts
- Physical stamina for 8+ hour shifts with frequent bending/lifting
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided)
- Team player with strong communication skills
