Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup duties
- Operate hand/power tools safely and efficiently under supervision
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and project plans
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and material transport
- Participate in team-based construction projects with strict adherence to safety protocols
- Complete daily progress reports and documentation as required
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and work in physically demanding conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (company-provided)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with consistent attendance
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and follow verbal instructions
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
