Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with material handling, site cleanup, and tool management
- Operate basic construction equipment (hand tools, power tools, scaffolding) under supervision
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Read and interpret simple blueprints and safety protocols
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, digging, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and report maintenance needs
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company policies
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
