Responsibilities
- Assist senior tradespeople with site preparation, excavation, and material handling
- Operate basic construction equipment (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and safety protocols
- Participate in team-based construction tasks for residential/commercial projects
- Complete daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Adhere to company sustainability practices on all job sites
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Valid California Driver's License preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours daily
- Willingness to complete OSHA 10-hour certification (company-provided)
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculation
- Reliable transportation to job sites across San Jose Valley
- No prior experience required – training provided
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
