Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized job sites
- Read simple blueprints and execute verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform physically demanding tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Participate in team-based construction activities for residential/commercial projects
- Complete daily equipment checks and basic maintenance tasks
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – we provide on-the-job training
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not mandatory
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with daily availability
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Commitment to workplace safety and OSHA compliance
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (provided by employer)
