Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and equipment operators with site preparation and material handling
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Maintain clean and safe job sites by removing debris and following OSHA guidelines
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and blueprints
- Operate power tools (drills, saws, etc.) under supervision after training
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Participate in daily team briefings and progress meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background and drug screen
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
