Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand tools and power equipment under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Perform cleanup and debris removal at job sites
- Read and interpret basic construction plans and safety protocols
- Follow OSHA safety guidelines and maintain organized work areas
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks as needed
- Assist with equipment maintenance and site security
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Willingness to work in outdoor conditions and variable weather
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team setting
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
