Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and masons with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment
- Perform physical tasks (digging, lifting, carrying) safely
- Follow verbal/written instructions from site supervisors
- Report safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – entry-level encouraged
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid CA driver’s license preferred
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screen
- Basic math and communication skills
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
