Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup tasks
- Operate basic hand tools (hammers, saws, shovels) and power equipment under supervision
- Follow strict safety guidelines and maintain organized, hazard-free work areas
- Read and interpret simple construction plans and material specifications
- Load/unload construction materials and transport supplies to designated work zones
- Perform physical tasks including digging, lifting, and carrying materials (up to 50 lbs)
- Participate in team-based construction projects with clear task assignments
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
