Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic hand and power tools safely and correctly under supervision.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various site tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by adhering to all OSHA safety protocols.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, plans, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and ensure proper storage on-site.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred but not required for entry-level).
- No prior construction experience required; we provide comprehensive training.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
