Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled tradesmen with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely under supervision
- Load/unuck construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Perform trenching, excavation, and concrete finishing tasks
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company guidelines
- Participate in daily site clean-up and waste management
- Complete daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor in varied weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (company-sponsored)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in team settings
