Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradesmen with site preparation, excavation, and demolition tasks
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Operate hand tools (hammers, saws, levels) and basic machinery under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites following OSHA safety standards
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal instructions from supervisors
- Perform general cleanup duties and waste management at project sites
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings to understand daily objectives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10-hour certification (provided)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within 50-mile radius
- Basic math skills for material measurement and inventory
- Flexibility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills
