Responsibilities
- Assist Senior Technicians: Shadow and support licensed plumbers with residential and commercial installations, repairs, and maintenance.
- Learn Technical Skills: Gain hands-on experience in pipefitting, drain cleaning, water heater installation, and leak detection.
- Read Blueprints: Study and interpret technical drawings and blueprints under professional supervision.
- Site Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients and assisting with project updates.
- Tool Management: Learn to properly handle, maintain, and use standard plumbing tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Driver’s License: Valid Driver’s License required.
- Physical Fitness: Must be able to lift heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs), climb ladders, and work in tight spaces.
- Work Ethic: Demonstrated reliability and a strong willingness to learn.
- Communication: Basic verbal skills to follow instructions and collaborate with the team.
- Schedule: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
