Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with site preparation, material handling, and cleanup operations
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (e.g., shovels, wheelbarrows, power saws)
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Read basic construction plans and material specifications
- Perform physical tasks including lifting, carrying, and positioning construction materials
- Support concrete pouring, framing, and finishing operations as assigned
- Adapt to changing project schedules and weather conditions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Basic math skills for measurement calculations
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
