Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and plumbers) with daily construction tasks.
- Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by removing debris and following OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic site measurements, cutting, and preparation of materials as directed by the Foreman.
- Operate basic construction machinery, including forklifts, scissor lifts, and jackhammers (training provided).
- Perform physical labor including digging, lifting, and carrying heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred; a valid Driver’s License is required.
- Experience: No prior construction experience necessary; we value a strong work ethic and willingness to learn over experience.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, able to stand for extended periods, and comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Skills: Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure are a plus.
- Attitude: Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
- Compliance: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
