Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools safely under supervision (saws, drills, levels)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment at job sites
- Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant work environment
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions from site supervisors
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and basic concrete work as needed
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
