Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation including material handling, debris removal, and equipment setup
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, shoveling, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow verbal instructions from supervisors and adhere to all safety protocols
- Support skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, etc.) with basic construction tasks
- Participate in daily site inspections and report any hazards or maintenance needs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and following instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- No prior construction experience necessary - training provided
- Reliable transportation to job sites
