Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters and skilled trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools under supervision (saw, drill, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Follow safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Complete basic site cleanup and debris removal
- Learn construction fundamentals through on-the-job training
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required
- Must be 18+ years old with valid ID
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Austin
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Pass pre-employment drug screening
