Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with construction tasks including material handling, site preparation, and cleanup
- Operate basic hand tools and power equipment under supervision (hammers, saws, drills, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain organized and safe work areas by following OSHA guidelines
- Participate in building structures, infrastructure, or renovation projects
- Complete daily task assignments and contribute to team productivity goals
- Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – comprehensive training provided
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license preferred but not required
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety protocols
- Strong work ethic with punctuality and reliability
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
