Responsibilities
- Assist with site preparation, including cleanup, debris removal, and material staging
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment under supervision (hammers, shovels, saws)
- Load/unload construction materials and transport supplies to designated areas
- Follow strict safety protocols and maintain organized work zones
- Support skilled tradespeople with tasks like digging, mixing concrete, and framing
- Perform physical labor tasks as assigned by site supervisors
- Adapt to dynamic job site conditions and weather requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Willingness to learn construction best practices and safety standards
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Basic math skills for measurements and material counting
- No prior construction experience necessary – training provided
