Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in construction tasks including excavation, demolition, and site preparation
- Safely load/unload materials and operate hand/power tools under supervision
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to safety protocols
- Read basic blueprints and follow verbal/written instructions from supervisors
- Participate in erecting scaffolding, temporary structures, and site layout
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Report equipment issues and maintain tool cleanliness/maintenance
Qualifications
- No prior construction experience required – training provided
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred but not mandatory
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and outdoor environments
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Basic English communication skills for team collaboration
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
