Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople in site preparation, excavation, and foundation work
- Safely operate hand/power tools under supervision (hammers, saws, drills)
- Load/unload construction materials and maintain organized job sites
- Follow OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE at all times
- Perform clean-up duties and debris removal to maintain project efficiency
- Participate in daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
- Learn basic blueprint reading and material measurement techniques
Qualifications
- Must be physically capable of lifting 50+ pounds and working in outdoor conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent (or equivalent experience)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Boston metro area
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to obtain OSHA 10 certification (provided by employer)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with zero tolerance for tardiness
- Team player mentality with positive attitude toward learning
